Briess Industries, doing business as Briess Malt & Ingredients Company, was established in 1876. Located in Chilton, Wis., it is one of the leading manufacturers of specialty malts for the brewing industry and a supplier of specialty ingredients for the brewing, food and pet food industries. The company operates a more than 110,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility and produces over 50 styles of malt. It offers a wide range of products, such as caramel and organic malts, roasted barley, malt extracts, corn syrup and filtering aids. Briess Industries has been operational for more than 130 years and is a member of the American Malting Barley Association and the Organic Trade Association.
