To start with one good thing: I at least got my money back.



I went to Lenscrafters to get new contacts fitted. Every time I have been there, customer service has been one of the worst I have ever experienced. Either nobody helps you at the cash register for minutes (so, just just get to hang out there for 5 minutes...), or there is limited knowledge and competence about products. E.g., when I asked the contacts person and the doctor (!) which kind of contact I am getting and reasons why, neither one was able to give me the information. They had me (!) call the labratory to find out what the provider of contacts was doing and why!



Besides this, everything went in the beginning as usual: they measured my eyes and vision and order contacts. I came back and it turned out, the contacts did not fit well. So, they re-measured and re-ordered. Turns out, contacts did not fit again. Same procedure again, same result. At the sixth fitting I asked for the manager and asked to return the contacts. Lenscrafters gave me the money for my contacts back, not for the eye exam though.



I would never go to this place ever again and would not even recommend it to my worst enemy. I have also heard from friends rather scary stories about Lenscrafters: e.g., measuring vision wrong and having people run around with the wrong strength contacts or glasses.
