Don't let the disgruntled opinion of one former boarder cause you to ignore Hunter's Run. While no one argues that its facilities are world class, Hunter's Run and Vanessa provide excellent care for your horse. As a current boarder with two horses currently under her watch, I can assure you that Vanessa is a knowledgeable and attentive stable manager.



Vanessa is quick to notice any illness or injury in a horse and is always willing to help. When my horse had a severe case of colic during the holidays she was there with me for every vet appointment, whether it was at 8 am or 10:30 pm. Not only that, she sent me home to rest while she continued to check on my horse two or three times a night for four consecutive nights to make sure he was okay. She's happy to help with everyday care and injuries/cuts as well and is always available to answer questions.



The feed and hay are high quality, and the horses have ample turnout space. The group of boarders is absolutely fantastic - everyone gets along and there is none of the cattiness that tends to pervade many barns. I've also been at "A-circuit" hunter barns, and I assure you that I would choose Hunter's Run over one of those barns any day. The care is great and the people are wonderful. It's hard enough to find one or the other of these qualities in a barn, much less both. I've had a terrific experience at Hunter's Run!
