I joined the gym two months ago and already had many reasons to regret. I was attracted by proximity to my home and the unlimited tanning provided with the $20/months membership plan. However I did not anticipate the amount of harassment from the staff and management that I should go thru. They made up many rules and continue adding more limiting my ability to exercise the way I used to. I was told on many occasions that I should use machines in a way that they make no noise and that I have to put weights on the ground slowly. They tell me that I cannot wear bandana. They tell me to I have to demonstrate them that I have protective glasses before they let me use the tanning booths basically forcing me to buy their glasses. And on, and on... Not to mention that the place is way too crowded - be prepared to wait at almost every machine you want to use, unless you are ok to exercise after 9pm. Very unpleasant experience. I do not recommend to anyone with at least a minimum sense of decency and self-respect.
