Established in 1923 by W. Herbert Blake, the original location of Blake Funeral Home was in the Highland section of Lowell, Massachusetts. In 1947, the Funeral Home was purchased by Cortlandt J. Burkinshaw, a first generation Funeral Director. In order to serve Chelmsford and its surrounding communities, Mr. Burkinshaw opened his second location at 24 Worthen St. in Chelmsford, Massachusetts in 1956. Call today for more details.
