The Chaska Park and Recreation Department offers a variety of leisure facilities and activities. It is involved in the management of parks, trails, swimming beaches, shelters, ice skating rinks and ballfields. The department s other recreational facilities include indoor ice sheets, aquatics area and a 200-plus-seat theater. It also provides children with various recreational programs that include lessons in skating, theater, studio aerobics, Pilates, yoga, judo, kickboxing and tae kwon do. The department offers services through a staff of administration, programming, support, maintenance and custodial personnel. The Chaska Park and Recreation Department is part of the city government of Chaska, Minn.
