We wash rugs and truly get them clean. One would not wear a shirt for days on end then wipe the surface of it with a sponge or cloth and expect it to be clean, one would wash it to be sure it is clean through and through. That's why we wash your Persian or oriental area rug. Your rugs are part of your home décor or in some cases treasured family heirlooms and should not be treated carelessly. Persian and Oriental rugs must be professionally cleaned in-plant, not in the home, to remove dry soil. These soils collect in your rug and damage the fiber over time. Odors and pet waste cannot be thoroughly removed by home based methods or regular carpet cleaning companies or even someone who claims to hand clean They need a thorough wash. Household methods and the "wonder spotters" that go with them are not designed for fine textiles such as your Persian or oriental area rug and can do irreversible damage to the fiber and dyes. Your rug can take days to dry in the home and can lead to mold or mildew or damage your floors. After we wash your rug it is dried gently overnight in a controlled environment.
