AKA VACATION INSPIRATIONS 855-296-4742 843-410-2220 THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST RIP OFFS EVER. I CAN NOT BELIEVE I WAS SO GULLIBLE. i AM EMBARASSED TO SAY HOW MANY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS THEY BILKED US FOR. THE PERSON DOING THE SALES PITCH OUT RIGHT LIED TO US AND EVERYONE IN THE ROOM. i POINT BLANK ASKED ABOUT MARRIOTT AND GDY RATES AND HE SAID IN FRONT OF EVERYONE THAT THEY WOULD BE CHEAPER THAN GDY AND MARRIOTT WAS ONE OF THEIR CONNECTIONS. i HAVE TRIED TO BOOK SEVERAL BUSINESS TRIPS WHICH WAS MY MAIN REASON FOR PURCHASING. i CAN GET BETTER RATES MYSELF ON LINE AND WITH LESS HASSELL AND TIME. Do not do business with this crowd. They may appear under other names so just stay away from all of this type business when visiting Charleston, SC

My wife and I spent $2800 for the privilege of using Vacation Station for our travel needs in April 2012 in Charleston, SC.

Our first attempt to get a date for a 1 week ‘free’ stay never got us a confirmed date after 4 tries.

BTW, for the ‘free’ stay, we had to send in over $175… please don’t ask… but we were lucky enough to get that money back but, we’re still ripped off of the $2800 for this ‘privilege’… with no benefits.

You have to send then requests by snail mail (can you believe that!) and give them 3 alternative dates and locations and they choice where and when you go on vacation… what’s wrong with that picture.

I really am kicking myself for my gullibility to ‘buy’ their sales line – wow – what a rude awakening.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY – IT’S A RIP OFF.

I was lured in with a letter from an airline that doesn't even exist..US Airlines. They offered me a $1400 round-trip travel voucher for sitting through a 60 minute presentation on the service they provide. Turns out, the phony letter was created from a marketing firm who works for Vacation Station and they "offer" deeply discounted travel deals...for a membership fee. The price to join was $8995, but if I join today it's $6995! But wait there's more...if I was the first of our group to sign up, it dropped to $5995! But wait there's more, if you say you're broke it drops to $4995, then $3995, then $2995 and finally $2100 for the premium package that someone else bought but didn't finish paying for! We politely declined and collected our round trip airline voucher. This voucher has a $5.00 processing fee, a $50 activation fee and then you pay $59 to BOOK the flight. I'm not in the mood to list all of the restrictions for the flight, so just google "Passport to Travel" complaints out of Tampa. Their reputation is equally as unimpressive as the Vacation Station. Most notable is the requirement to return the registration packet within 30 days, several reviews I read stated that the return envelope was received with a date stamped on the front which was over 30 days prior to the current date. For ex: One was received Jan 9th with a red stamp on the front reading "December 6th" Ha ha dont count on it folks!
