THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY TO RENT A HOME FROM OVER PRICED HOMES WITH CHEAP WALLS YOU CAN NOT EVEN CLEAN PAYING MY RENT LATE ON TWO MONTHS PAYING MY RENT PLUS THEIR 1000 FEES . DUE TO ME LOSING MY JOB AND HAVING A GRAND BABY BEING BORN THEY KICKED ME AND MY CHILDREN OUT GIVING US 1 WEEK AND 3 DAYS TO FIND A PLACE ARE LIVE ON THE STREETS AND THAT DAY JUST SO HAPPEN TO BE THE DAY MY MOTHER PASSED . HEARTLESS COMPANY THAT NEVER RESPOND TO ANY EMAILS AND WILL LEAVE YOU WITHOUT A REFRIGERATOR AND MICROWAVE FOR A MONTH WITHOUT CARING ABOUT YOUR LOSS. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY

Awesome property management !! Could not be happier with the service I have received. The staff is always super friendly and willing to help. I have never had to wait long for an issue to be resolved. They have an online portal that is easy to navigate for rents payments or maintenance concerns.

This property management company has figured out how things should work. I love that they are always trying new ideas to improve and that they listen to suggestions and requests for help when things do not go well. Highly recommend!

As a colleague of Warren Sloan I have had lots of oppurtunity to see his business and how he does work. Property Management is a job where you have to deal with the worst issues and sometimes you get rated for a no win situation. However you are in good hands with Warren and his team and he is constantly making changes to making things better.

I placed a work order for a large crack in my kitchen wall and water damage on the kitchen ceiling in early Dec '15. The downstairs tenant put in a work order around the same time for a major leak in the roof. Sarah Turocy from Sloane claimed that the leaks in the ceiling were fixed in mid-Feb '16. That's more than two mo. of living with a leaky ceiling. My work orders for the wall crack and water damage were NEVER fixed while I lived there. I confronted Ms. Turocy about this and she told me the issues weren't fixed because they were cosmetic and they were making sure there was no moisture in the ceiling/wall before they decided to fix it. But even two mo. after she said the leak was fixed, they still hadn't fixed the water damage in my apartment. It took them nearly 5 mo. to address my work orders, and I had already moved out when she told they had been fixed. Sloane Realty is made up of the most inefficient, useless sacks of human excrement you'll find in the Charleston rental market

Sloane Realty has taken great care of our property and their service and professionalism is outstanding! They have proven themselves to be fair to both owners and tenants. We rest easy knowing that Sarah and the entire team at Sloane consistently work hard to provide excellent property management. In addition to managing the rental process, they are mindful of maintaining the value of our property, which is extremely important to us. They have a great network to provide quality maintenance at the best possible prices. All I can say is Thanks!!!

We have had a great experience with Sloane. They were super professional and found them to be very fair and responsive. No complaints!!

Everyone at sloane realty is very helpful. Wonderful people to do business with. Especially their office manager jennifer is wonderful.

My experience with Sloane was terrible. They literally cost me thousands of dollars due to mismanagement.





I'm a landlord and have owned property since 2001. I've had as many as 8 rentals and hired Warren Sloane to manage 4 of my properties in SC. Over the past decade I was in the military and bought rental property in 3 states where I was stationed. So I've had a lot of experiences with Property Managers and renters. I can honestly say Sloane Prop Mgmt really screwed me over several different times. His right hand woman, Sarah, is just as bad.



Since the AIr Force stationed me in CA, I really needed a prop manager I could trust to manage my investments back in my home state of SC. I thought Warren would be a good fit since they market themselves as pro-military and as a family company.



Man was I wrong. They have a small business, yet every time I called with an issue or question or they wanted money to fix something in a house ... I never got to talk to the same person. It was like dealing with a big, nameless, faceless company ... yet still having to work with the constraints of a small company. So the worst of both worlds. I get better customer service at the Apple Store or CostCo or WalMart.



In the end, after less than a year managing my 4 properties, I had 2 turnovers and the "wear and tear" repairs where nearly $5,000 for each property. I've never had anything like that. One renter just decided not to pay the last month's rent. I guess he could sense the super-lax management and knew he could get away with it. When I asked Sloane to do something about it, they just wouldn't. I was in CA.



They are so lazy. Warren recommended that my 68 year old mother who still lives in SC file the paperwork to start working on getting that last month of rent. Ridiculous. If you want terrible service and no accountability, hire this place. Also, they got plenty of their own repairmen who will make sure to charge you the top price.

Sloane Team Realty is BY FAR the worst rental company I have encountered in the past 6 years in Charleston. During this time I have had 4 landlords and none have been more of a nuisance than this company. It is not there job to babysit their tenants. They take advantage of your age and charge you absurd amounts of money for "maintenance" that they document and determine to be "unacceptable for living". Aside from Warren Sloane, the staff is the the most unpleasant group of people that I have encountered in a business situation. They are abrasive, seem put out by the thought of having a conversation with you, and are simply miserable to deal with.

I had the same problems with this company. Thank goodness I got away from the stress associated with dealing with these crazy people!

Do NOT use this company. They are rude and unprofessional towards clients and tenants. My tenants said that Sloane Realty constantly berated them each time they talked to them. They charged me for questionable "repairs" after getting them fixed by their "in-house repairman" (who is a co-owner of the company!). I was always very skeptical of the things that they told me in regards to my rental. There are too many legit, professional and good property management companies in Charleston that you can use.
