Dr. Charlie Strange is a professor of pulmonary and critical care medicine at MUSC, with faculty appointments in the Department of Medicine and the Department of Graduate Studies. His clinical interests include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (with specialty interest in alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency and bronchoscopic lung volume reduction) and interstitial lung disease (with specialty interest in the connective tissue diseases). Dr. Strange has interest in rare lung diseases and participates in NIH programs to advance their treatment. He is available for physician consultations on the above research studies and continues active inpatient and outpatient clinical service.
