Founded in 1980, the Academy at Charlemont is a private coeducational school that offers classes in core subjects, such as English, Latin, history, mathematics and science. The school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The Academy at Charlemont also conducts programs in art, music and drama. Its serves more than 100 students in grades seven through 12, as well as provide postgraduate education. The school is a member of National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and Association of Independent Schools of New England (AISNE).
