One star because you don't offer negative star options. I called on a Friday to verify if they had a spare tire lift. I was very specific about my vehicle. I was told "we have one on the shelf." So I paid for it up front. Come Saturday morning I drive out to pick up my part. Which according to them the cannot find on the shelf. The counterperson disappeared for 20 minutes. When he returned he said he couldn't find it and would send someone to the yard to locate another. Well, an hour later the yard guy returns with my old part and one that was in their opinion CLOSE. It wasn't even close, especially when I gave you a duplicate. I wouldn't patronize this place again if they gave parts away. Worst customer service ever .

I like the way the rims are organized by shelf and labled. You don't need to look through a heap of rims for your size.

Went in 10-15-12. Talked with Paul I believe. Nice man. Purchased 2 front bearings and spindles for a GM. Fair price. When I took the car to the mechanic to put them on, he discovered that I was sold 2 right bearings and spindles, no left. Had to wait all day to get the left side. After paying to put them on, he discovered that those bearings were also shot, no good. Had to wait until Tuesday to get "good" bearings. Keep in mind I asked Paul before I left if they were any good, and he assured me they were. So, Tuesday comes and they finally send up the bearings. In the mean time, my mechanic finds a couple other issues and I tell him to go ahead and get the parts from I55. SO Wednesday, I call Dan around 11:30 AM and ask if he has delivered the parts to my mechanic. He says no. I stress how important it is to have my car by 3, and he says he is sending them right away. Well, needless to say, the parts arrived after 5, and I picked up my car tonight at 7:30, only 4 and a half hours after I told Dan at I55 I needed my car. I also couldn't help notice that on 10-15-12, at around noon, the man sitting at the computer couldn't have looked more disinterested and was not friendly at all. To sum it up, I think I can do better as far as customer service. I mean, I know it's a junkyard, but COME ON!!! I will never go back. Selling bad parts is horrible for a parts dealer. To make matters worse, my debit card was charged twice on Monday, and it took until Wednesday to get my charges reversed. 3 days without access to my money, which I needed. The worse part of this whole situation is that they never once tried to rectify this situation, with the exception of Paul apologizing.

I have dealt with I-55 Auto Salvage for 20 years and have never been disappointed with their experience, selection, or prices!
