Where to start....John is amazing! His attention to detail the time he took to come out and help us plan our daughters backyard wedding to the linens, and table/chair set up, dance floor.....all of the guests were very impressed with the backyard and assembly they felt like they were at a venue not our backyard. John, thank you for making our daughters wedding a beautiful day!!

Worst Customer servcie EVER!!!... They only rent junk anyways.. your better off to just go buy whatever tool you need, Rented from there 2 xs, both times got the tool/device home - didnt work - for crap.. when you try and gte some help or assisatnce, they send some kid oout who doesnt care and doesnt know. Some guy there, John, is real peice of work too. Ther eis another rental place a little further away if you live in Minooka or Channahon,, worth the trip...my son just rented from ther e- I told him not too... did work out for him eiather.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM OWNER! --We've been renting from Channahon General Rental for 15 years. We've always called in to reserve items as needed and never had an issue. On June 22, 2015, We rented a Princess Bounce house via their "NEW" (bouncing yellow tag on their website advertising this feature) "RENT ONLINE" feature two weeks before we needed the bounce house July 3 for my soon to be 6 year old daughter's birthday party. She picked out the bounce house she wanted from their website advertisement. I received not one, but two confirmation emails, on June 22 and again on June 25, stating someone would be contacting me from Channahon General Rental within 48 hours to take a deposit. When I didn't hear from anyone after 3 business days, I called to give them a deposit. The owner stated she did not receive the reservation email and that the house was no longer available. This was now 3 days before my daughter's party. I asked her what they were going to do to fix the issue. She went on to tell me that this is the first time in 18 months of having this "NEW RENT ONLINE" feature available, that she hasn't received the reservation and then went on to tell me I should have called sooner! I nearly dropped the phone. At that point, they only had 5 houses left and none were remotely close to a princess or even appropriate to a girl turning 6 as one was a choochoo train and one was a car. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the owner told me I needed to rent somewhere else and hung up on me. I have to say that that type of service will have them out of business in no time. She could have offered a discount to rent one of the other houses, but she clearly knew nothing of how to fix the error that happened on their end. I even forwarded the confirmation emails to her. She told me that the email is not a reservation confirmation, however that is not stated on their website anywhere. We ended up taking our business elsewhere and all the 1,000's of dollars we have invested renting from this company the last 15 years will now go to someone else who appreciates their customers.

When calling Channahon General Rental, please make sure you dial the correct number. They are 467-0173, NOT 467-1073!! This is MY home phone number!! You will still get a pleasant voice at the other end, I just won't be able to help you with your rental needs! thanks and have a nice day! :)

If you want what you ordered do not rent from this place. Very disappointed.Horriable and very rude Customer Service. Would never rent or suggest for anybody to rent from this place. If in the same area this company is go to Grand Rental in Shorewood. Grand Rental saved my party after the Horrible experience I had with Channahon Rental!
