I was hesitant about getting my first tattoo since i was not sure where to go and who i should trust....i kept hearing the name BACON come up with various people i would talk to. All would highly recommend him. So I went into his shop to kind of see for myself and get a feel for what it was like....I wanted to feel comfortable sitting for a few hours cuz I am pretty chicken. After entering I immediately knew this was the place to go...upscale and clean...felt right..and great reputation. Best choice I could have made...Mike Bacon sat with me to explain and discuss what I wanted and added his advice as to my ideas. Just want to say thank you -Tattoo U!

I just had a tattoo done at Tattoo U this past Saturday and I can't even say accurately how awesome they were. Everyone who works there is super friendly, the shop is very clean and all equipment is sterile. My tattoo was done by Randie and she did an awesome job adapting my design to something really beautiful. I honestly couldn't be happier with how it turned out and have received nothing but compliments on it. Even people i know who don't like tattoos have said they love it! I will definitely be coming back to Tattoo U if I ever decide to get another tattoo.

I can't say enough good things! Clean shop, clean tattoo lines, and Randi and Mike are awesome. My husband got tattoo'd here..very impressed.and we will both have all future work done here..I have several and I wish I knew this place existed before I had some of my work done elsewhere...anyone looking for a note worthy place.. check this shop out!

While there's lots of choices to get work done in AZ (and I've visited many), Tattoo U is the place to be. Randie turned an unfinished tattoo on my arm into a showpiece! What I really liked is she took the time to discuss and make suggestions - showing she really cares about what she does. Both her and Mike are really friendly and we've shared laughs both times I've been there. I've got several visits ahead - my other arm and my back- and I'm looking forward to Randie making some more magic! 100% recommedation! Go see them now!PS- Randie, where's the pirate? haha

I got my first tattoo from Mike 16 years ago and to this day I have only had on of my seven tattoos done by another artist. Both of my sisters have gone to Mike and we are always impressed with the detail and beauty of his work! I am planning a half sleeve and wouldnt trust anyone but Mike to do it for me. As for the post about Mike being rude all I can say is if it was you sitting in the chair getting a tattoo you wouldn't want the artist to be interupted. I think your the rude one! MIKE BACON IS THE BEST!

Been going to him for 6 years now and his work continues to amaze me. I give him an idea or two with some stick figures, verses, etc of where I want stuff and voila, 2 days later he has the drawing done and away we go. I still have a few more than I planning on getting and you can bet your @!! that I will be going to Tattoo U. He's an amazing artist. Worth the $!

I was going through a cross road in my life, and i couldnt think of another way to express the struggle. I decided to get tattoo'd, adding another to my growing collection. Once again, I headed over to Tattoo U. I just don't trust any other shop. I went that route in the past, but its a different experience w/ Michael? I dont know what it is...? Is it the small one on one feel? The feeling that its not a tattoo production line? His experience and skill? Price? I do know, he truely loves his work, and understands that if the client is putting something on his body, that he will walk around with for the rest of his life, it must be extremely important!Michael "gets" this, and it shows! I cant tell you where to get your tattoo, but you would be wise to check out Tattoo u first!! Thanks mike

This could be the rudest tat shop i have ever been in. I stoped in and mike didnt have the common curtesy to pick his head up from the intence rocket sience he apparently was doig.

I first met the owner of Tattoo U, Michael, about 2 months ago. I walked in to get a flying pig on the inside of my right arm. We shot the s^%t for about a ½ hour when he said…”do you know what my last name is? It’s bacon.” That’s when I knew he was the one to do my work. He listened to what I wanted and why I wanted it and created a master piece. He works quickly; has great stories to share; and cares about quality and satisfaction. The overall experience of his shop and his work is top notch. Most importantly he is affordable. I’m looking forward to working with him on my next piece.

This place is great, the people are great, the artist took her time to complete her work in great detail. I love the work she did and I love my new tattoo. thank you

After years of thinking about getting tattooed , I finally got the guts to do it.So I asked my friends who they thought I should trust to mark my body for life. Several people who I spoke with suggested a place in Chandler named Tattoo U. Located on the S/W corner of Kyrene & Chandler Blvd. in Chandler Az. When I arrived I was greated by the owner Mike Bacon ,who made me feel right at home. We discussed my design, after he made a few suggestions about what I wanted he took some free time a drew my Tattoo for me , and I was blown away by how awesome it looked.I made the appointment ,and one week later I have the tattoo of my dreams , Thanks Mike for the wonderful work , and I highly reccommend them to everyone.Thanks,Lacey Wensing
