Provided by YP.comThis was the worst wedding reception I have ever been too. I didn''t think anything was set up well at all. You had to walk through the food to get to the tables. There wasn't enough seats for everyone. The bride's parents had to stand to eat, how tacky is that? The staff was rude to the guest and I was told by a lady that she "owns the place" so I better do as she says. Is that really how you want your wedding guest treated? I would not ever have anything at the place, and do not recommend anyone to have anything here.
I am truly sorry that this guest felt she had to leave a negative response for the event she attended. I remember her well. The headcount was more than the bride had given me so yes, there were folks standing. The bride's parents volunteered to give up their chairs to an elderly couple who were standing. I did have to tell her I "own the place" because this guest who WAS sitting at a table, wanted to go thru the buffet before her table number was called. I have the best staff a facility could ever have and always strive to exceed all expectations of our clients. It is unfortunate that she saw things differently. If you will check out all the other reviews you find online for Occasions at Wedgefield and Cynthia Phillips, Your Wedding Lady, Inc.....I think you will find that this guest was just having a bad day. Bless her heart!
