I highly recommend Nice Appliance. I was looking to replace a cooktop and brand new the low end no frills 36" smooth top were $600 - 1,200 at other stores. I came across a craigslist add from Nice Appliance and I could not believe they had a very nice used one for $200. I installed it yesterday and it is just like brand new. They were very nice at the store and even loaded it in my car for me. I live 50 miles away and I will make the drive next time I need any appliance.

I'd highly recommend Nice Appliance to everyone. Dave is a stand up guy. I recently bought a stackable washer / dryer from them for my rental property. After a few weeks it stopped mid cycle and wouldn't spin out the water. They sent a repair man to inspect

it. Turns out it was an operator error by one of my tenants. They honored the warranty

and we worked it out with no hassles. Got fixed right away. You can count on these guys.

I saw some nice dryers on Craig's List. Out of a hundred people I decided to call these guys. I had cash in hand and was ready to get in my car and purchase. I called to ask a couple questions - they were extremely rude and short. One word answers. I tried to ask another question and got "look we have customers in the store if you want to look come in" and "click" - hang up. I called back, another person answered. I told him the other person lost him a cusomer and he literally laughed. I'm glad in this economy some people are doing so well they can blow off prospective customers. Glad I called before driving 30 miles. Will never call them again. They are one of 100 possibilities. I'll never understand how some people stay in businness.

Nice Appliance on VanDyke in Center Line MI is the nicest used appliance store that I have ever visited. I bought a stove, a refrigerator, a washing machine, and a dryer for less than $500 for everything. And they were good clean appliances. If I would have had more money I would have bought top of the line appliance because they were not too much more money, but I was was very happy to save so much by buying the low priced appliances. And they all work fine. I told a friend about Nice Appliance because she had some old stuff and wanted to upgrade. The next time I went to her house I said "Oh I didn't know you wanted to buy all brand new appliances!" when I saw her "brand new" refrigerator and stove. She laughed and said "These are not 'brand new.' I bought them used from Nice Appliance."
