My 5 year old daughter has been taking lessons for nearly a year. It's been such a joy to see her learn and appreciate music. She is now playing with both hands! Claudia does a great job providing a very structured environment focusing on both ear training, music theory and music appreciation...all mixed with fun!

My 4 year old son has been taking piano classes at the Piano Playhouse and is doing very well. Claudia has excellent management skills when it comes to the children. The Yamaha methodology is excellent, incorporating music theory and ear training. This location is far from where we will but we make the drive every week because it is such a great class.

We love the Piano Playhouse! My daughter (7) is now in her second year there. She started knowing nothing, but was really excited to study piano. Miss Claudia is a patient but firm teacher. She incorporates plenty of “play” time, during which the kids move/dance around the studio and learn rhythm and beats, so it’s not all sitting in front of the keyboard for an hour. My daughter has learned so much in a year and was excited to continue into her second year. (“I love learning how to play a whole song on my own!” she tells me.) I also find that Claudia is very organized and communicates quickly when the class schedule changes due to weather, etc. She’s also very flexible when we need to skip or make-up a class or change our scheduled class day. Finally, compared with other piano teachers I researched, these classes are very reasonably priced.

My daughter has been with Claudia for about a year and really enjoys her group lessons. Claudia really has a good way with the kids making things fun, but challenging them at the same time. Claudia is always willing to help parents (non piano playing) understand lessons as well.

Our son has been taking lessons from Claudia since she opened The Piano Playhouse and we couldn't be happier! She has a genuine love for music and for helping the children learn. We are amazed at how much he has progressed with Claudia's guidance.
