Dr. Jenkins is truly an amazing and accomplished audiologist. She takes great care to see that her patients are cared for individually and by hiring a great staff! She also does amazing charity work in her field! I would highly recommend Dr. Jenkins as your audiologist.

Dr. Jenkins is very knowledgeable in her field. However, Advanced Audiology seems to overcharge patients for office visits. They charged me $245 visit for a regular $60 copy visit.

I had a tinnitus problem in my left ear. I called Advanced Audiology office to have an appointment with Dr. Jenkins. I made sure that they are in-network with my insurance carrier –Cigna. The office clerk confirmed they are in-network. However, the Tinnitus test is not covered in the plan, so a charge of $245 will be collected. I agreed that I would pay.

After I got there, they charged me $245. During the session with Dr. Jenkins, I received a Hearing test. After discussion of the tinnitus issues with Dr. Jenkins, she introduced to me some treatment options which cost between $1000 and $3000. Dr. Jenkins let me listen to a demo of one of the treatment for 2 minutes. I asked doctor for a tinnitus test which I had paid for it at the front desk for $245. Dr. Jenkins said that I did not need to have the test since I had not decided to take the treatment. So, I asked Dr. Jenkins what was the reason I paid $245. She said that is for consultation.

I was told to pay $245 for a tinnitus test, which I never took. Two weeks later, I received a bill for another $60 for co-pays to visit the doctor. So, I should have paid $60 for a specialist visit as consultation fee, instead of paying $245. I felt cheated.

I brought my grandfather in for care a few months ago. He can be a difficult patient, but Dr. Jenkins gave him the most comprehensive and understanding I could have ever asked for. Its a wonderful office and I had such a positive experience, my family is bringing my grandmother back next week to purchase a hearing aid from the office.
