Dr. Bastacky is the best oral surgeon you will find. He made the wisdom tooth process easy and stress free. Him and his team are very professional and caring. A great experience. A very nice office too. I highly recommend Dr. B.

I recently got my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Bastacky. When I first went for a consultation, I had a 3p.m appointment. I didn't get into the exam room until almost 4 p.m and didn't see the DR. until 4.20. Dr. looked me over and seem pretty friendly. Gave me prescription and date to come back for wisdom teeth extraction. As stated in another review, front desk staff are very rude, and unpleasant. I went back to get my teeth removed and again, I was over a hour late getting to the surgery room. No explanation or apology was offered. The DR. came in and was not in scrubs, wearing gloves, or even a mask. Very unprofessional. I was released following my procedure to the care of my father. I was not given any gauze or towels to staunch the bleeding. so I bled in my car. On the follow up visit, I again was taken 35 minutes late. My appointment was at 11 on a weekday so his office wasn't crowded. The DR. looked in my mouth, gave me a syringe, and sent me home. In summary, the care here is very unprofessional, the front end staff are rude, and unhelpful, and they are ALWAYS LATE. Even when they say to arrive 15 mins early on the day of your procedure. I would NOT recommend this practice to a friend.

My son and I have had great treatment from Dr. Bastacky. He has explained all procedures to me and been very responsive to all questions. He is never rushed and has made me as comfortable as possible while in his care.



My son had 4 wisdom teeth extracted and had miminal pain afterwords and almost no swelling! Quite different from my personal experience with wisdom teeth extractions!

I have had a completely different experience than the previous patient. Dr. Bastacky took the time to give me a thorough examination and thoroughly explain the procedure. He was totally professional and did not talk with his dental assistant about anything while I was having the procedure, other than his request to hand him dental instruments. He encouraged me to contact him if I experienced any problems before my next visit.



My 18 year old son was also a patient, having had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Bastacky. My son was as comfortable as possible and had absolutely no complications after the surgery. I have recommended the doctor to friends of mine. I find him to be an excellent oral surgeon.

I have been seeing Dr. Bastacky since January 2010 and have had a wonderful experience. His staff has been friendly and helpful almost consistently. Dr. Bastacky himself has always put the patient first. There have been times when I have needed an emergency procedure and he has not hesitated to schedule me immediately or stay late for an appointment. I recently had jaw surgery and he did an incredible job. He also made sure I had all the contact info I needed in case of an emergency since I live three hours from his office. He is a very gifted and caring doctor; I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone I know.

I was referred for a wisdom tooth extraction and a consultation for a possible extraction of another one. His receptionist was quick to charge me $445/- before I even saw Dr Bastacky. His dental assistant took my radiograph and then led me to the dental chair and shoved a coupld of papers for me to sign and pointed out the place where I had to sign and date. Dr Bastacky hardly spoke to me before the procedure, did not explain the radiographs he had taken, did not explain what he was about to do and just proceeded to put a mouth guard in my mouth and extracted both the teeth without even finding out what medications if any I was on. He and his dental assistant then went on to discuss mundane matters during the procedure and had no empathy towards me. I was anxious, tearful and felt violated. Had I not signed the consent form his dental assistant had shoved in my hands without explaining the procedure, I would have sued him for assault.

PLEASE DO not go to this person as he lacks professionalism and treated me as one would treat inanimate objects.
