Steeve Flooring tried to defraud our insurance company for thousands of dollars for work he never did. The work he did do was very poor (we have photos). We later found out that Steve was not even licensed in the state of Wyoming. We will never recommend him.

Steve has just completed a carpet install in four upstairs bedrooms and a difficult stair case with wrapped edges. I highly recommend Steve and his professionalism and quality of work. This is the fourth job he has done for me including 2 rentals and my residence. His work is very good and his installations are very well done. He has always in my experience bid his jobs competitively and fully completed them to my expectations.
In one installation as he was doing the tear out it became apparent that the home builder some 35 years earlier had cut corners and improperly supported a fireplace hearth causing the hearth and surround to crumble. Steve expertly fabricated and completed a repair including the installation of a new quartz hearth and surround.
I recommend Steve's Flooring without reservation.

I would highly recommend Steve's Flooring. Steve was efficient, thorough, professional and his attention to detail was perfect. Both Steve and Isabel were really great and they always followed through on all aspects of the promised time schedule and job plan. I would definitely hire again for future home projects. We had Steve's Flooring redo all the floor surfaces in our Casper house. He also did the tiling in the bathroom and the backsplash in the kitchen area. Steve was on the job everyday at 7:30 and stayed late to complete work. He is dependable, knowledgeable and hard working. The wood floors that he refinished throughout most of the house look exceptional and we continue to receive compliments about them. When we tell our friends that Steve's Flooring refinished them, they say, "He really knows what he is doing." I would highly recommend Steve's Flooring for all your flooring needs.

I want to start off by saying I highly recommend Steve's
Flooring to everyone.
When the time came to lay the new floor in the kitchen I was called to remind me of the time.
He was on time, very clean, friendly and professional. The job was done on time even though he had to contend with delays from the baby gates at the stairs that made it harder to pass with the equipment and supplies.
The floor looks wonderful. He matched and measured and was meticulous about each detail.
We liked his work so much we had him put in a shower where there has been a tub. His tile work and attention to detail surpassed the kitchen flooring job. We love to new shower and the look of the bathroom.
He was on time every day or we had a phone call to let us know when he would be there. The wood floors were always protected by drop cloths.
Steve is a hard working professional who takes great pride in his work. It was a pleasure to have him and Brandon in our home.

We initially received multiple bids for installing wood plank LVT in our home and Steve's from Steve's Flooring was the lowest, which prompted us to accept his bid. After doing the measuring in our home, Steve assured us that we would not need a subfloor, stating that our floor was definitely level enough to lay the LVT planks directly onto the floor once the carpet was removed. However, the floor turned out to not be level and we ended up needing a subfloor anyway, increasing the cost significantly.



The LVT flooring itself ended up looking great (after we had a subfloor installed underneath it) and we were happy with the final look. However, we were not happy overall with the professionalism displayed throughout the process. Steve was late every day he was scheduled to work (generally 1-2 hours late) and was not the friendliest when we had to ask him multiple times on multiple days to move his truck, which was blocking our driveway.



We also paid Steve to install new trim on the wall along the floorboards (the old trim was poor quality and had splintered and broken when being removed to install the LVT). Our trim project kept getting pushed back by other flooring projects Steve had going on with other customers and it ended up being about 2 weeks before Steve said he could come back and finish the trim. On the day he was finally scheduled to come and do the trim, he was three hours late and we ended up calling to tell him that we would just find someone else to do it.



Steve did issue us a check for a refund for the money we had paid for the installation of the trim. However, when we attempted to deposit the check, it would not clear due to non-sufficient funds in Steve's business account. We ended up having to try to deposit it every day for about a week straight and even had to call the business to find out when they were going to have the funds in their account.



We recently had another flooring professional in our home (to give us a bid for installing the trim) and he told us that we would likely have issues with our flooring in the coming years due to the way it was installed. He said he would not be surprised if planks started popping loose.



Overall, I would not recommend this business.
