Daughter's car has been there for two visits. FIRST VISIT: replaced the brake caliper assembly on front right wheel. Also 'cleaned the back brakes', total charge $500. Car quit running two days later, due to a hole in a spark plug wire. Coincidence 1? - I went to Raleigh and got the car and replaced the spark plug wires. After 1000 miles, brakes started surging. I had my daughter bring the car home for inspection in my shop. In that brake caliper, there was only one bolt holding it on (it takes two). Lug nuts had been installed improperly, which caused the surging. One lug nut was crossthreaded. I fixed.

SECOND VISIT: Car running rough. Asked to call us before fixing. They didn't... 'fixed it' without asking, $350 for a coil replacement, a radiator cap? and a 'head set' ?? Car quit running three hours later - Coincidence 2?. I went to Raleigh and got the car, brought it home. I pulled off the distributor cap and found lots of aluminum oxidation, retarding the spark. Car started up, but now needs a head gasket....
