They buy gold and encourage anyone of any age to bring in gold for cash. My daughter needed money so she decided to take my expensive jewelry into this store when she was 16. She said they looked at her ID and wrote down information when she brought in the 1st items. She went back at least 4 times with different items that she had stolen from me. Most of my items also had diamonds and other expensive stones which they did not give back to her. She even took my $3500 tennis bracelet which contained 30+ diamonds. She probably didn't even get $100 for this. When I noticed the items missing she told me what she had done. We went to the store and confronted the owner who at 1st lied to me about buying these items for the gold. He said they didn't keep records on anyone that sold them jewelry which was also a lie. I seriously doubt they melted down a diamond tennis bracelet, or a diamond sapphire ring with 8 diamonds or a diamond pendant containing 3 diamonds or a diamond journey pendant, for the gold. They may be reselling these items in their store or have someone selling them on the side for them. Be careful if you purchase anything from them as it may be stolen. I couldn't press charges since I didn't want my daughter to have a police record. These items had sentimental value and these people played on a young kid and invited her to keep coming back. Obviously they don't care if items are stolen. How many 16 year olds do you know that have $5000 to $6000 worth of jewelry?
