PROBLEM NOT FIXED

On August 15, 2012, Mike Teems told me that he needed to replace a value to make the check engine light go off. He said that it did not interfere in the running of the van but if something else more serious went wrong with the van I would not know it since the light was on. After a lot of questions and Mike assuring me that this would make the light go off, I finally agreed. I got the van back and they said they fixed the problem for $209.85. The light came back on over the weekend. I called talked to a man, he said he would leave a message for them to call me. No one called. I called at the end of the week, talked to Bobby (shop manager). He made an appointment for me to bring the van in the first of the next week. I took van in they put it on the machine to scan for engine codes. Bobby stated that "it is showing the value they put on my van was defected." He said "I will get with Mike tomorrow and order a new value and we'll call you when it comes in". I waited two weeks no calls. I called talked to a Mark, he said Bobby and Mike were not there but he would leave a message. I waited and waited, I called again the next week talked to Mark again, he said he would leave another message. I called again the next week (by now it is Oct. 1, 2012) talked to Mark, he said he would leave another message but the last message was still laying there. STILL NO ONE returned my call. I just retired as a teacher so on Oct. 10, 2012, I drove to the shop. I talked to Mike. They put the van on the machine again, still showing same codes. The part number on my receipt was not even the correct part number from Toyota for them to order and put on my van. He called Toyota's parts man, they talked about wrong part over and over and then Mike hung up. Mike refused to fix the van. Mike refused to replace the part. Mike refused to refund the money. Mike said that he had been out sick a lot since Christmas. I told him that if he didn't know how to fix my van then he should have told me. He said " I know how to fix cars, I've been working on cars for 38 years". I said he lied to me about fixing my car. He said "Toyota lied to him." His final words were "JUST SUE ME AND WE WILL TALK TO THE JUDGE AND SEE WHAT HE SAYS!" This is his exact words since I had my notebook and pen with me along with the dates and messages that I had left over the last 7 weeks of trying to get my van fixed correctly. MIKE TEEMS TOOK MY $209.85 AND DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM AT ALL. HE DID NOTHING TO REPAIR, REPLACE, OR MIX the (defected part that his team put on my van) TO MAKE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT GO OFF.
