My new 4k UHD Samsung TV from Amazon died two months after receiving it. I filled out the online service form on Samsung's site and they gave me three options on which repair service to use. Of the three choices, the other two had 2 or 3 stars on yelp while Barrett's had no rating. I went with Barrett's because no reviews meant people weren't angry, and Samsung had them as the recommended company.



I filled out the form on Samsung's site for repair at 8pm on a Tuesday night. I spoke with Barrett's about 5 times between Wednesday 3 and Thursday to discuss the issue and get more details, inform me parts were ordered, inform me parts arrived, and schedule a time for a tech to come fix it. All great communication!



The tech came Friday, fixed my TV, and was out of my place in under 30 minutes. The tech was very nice, well dressed, professional, and knew that when you lay a tv flat, it needs to be on a blanket to not scratch the screen. He was extremely careful and meticulous in his repair despite how fast he went. He wasn't just working a 9-5, he was taking pride in his work.



Overall, a broken TV became a working TV in under 3 days thanks to Barrett's. It was all done with ample communication, professionalism, and meticulous workmanship you don't often find these days.



If you're like me and looking to get a brand new TV serviced, i highly recommend them.

I had a problem with a 5+ year old Sony that lost audio and called Barrett's TV Repair for quote. I could bring TV to their shop or they would come to our home. I opted to take the TV to their shop. I paid for a diagnosis and was called with an estimate 1 week later. I had them repair the problem. When I went to pickup the repaired TV they showed me in their showroom how it sounded. I was referred to Barrett's by a local TV repair company that did not specialize in my equipment.I called and explained the symptoms of the faulty TV to the Barrett's staff. They scheduled a service call for the next day, came out during the time window, and fixed the problem (it ended up being what was speculated in the prior phone call - a few bad components on the power board). The repairman was knowledgable and friendly.It was an relatively expensive repair, but in line with my expecations from discussing the matter with people who have had TVs repaired in the past.I have written a letter to the TV manufacturer regarding the quality of their parts, but cannot hold that against Barrett's and would probably use them again if required (although, with all due respect, I hope that is never).
