A++++ Dance studio. Well organized and very family friendly. My daughter loved all of the different classes ranging from ballet to Hip Hop ! Very professional and top of the line instructors. Recitals are fabulous and owner always contributes to charities , making it even more special. They work with all skill levels. Watching my daughter grow as a dancer Over the past 5 years as been a joy . Highly recommend this studio!!

This is a first-class dance studio! They deeply care about their students, and this goes beyond just dance. Students are encouraged to be the best they can be in all facets of life, and the students gain so much confidence there! Thank you, Spirit of Dance Studio!

"She dreamed she could and so she did."

This was the motto for the spring recital this year. It was all about empowering girls/women and proving that they are as much our future as anyone else.

Those reviews about body shaming and such, are ridiculous. This studio has never been anything else than a safe place encouraging words for the girls that dance here.

My daughter came in late this spring and thanks to the hard work and encouragement of another dancer(assistant) at the studio, was able to catch up on the dances and be in both the recital and the wizard of oz. She has since gained more confidence and is excited to be part of something.

To those with the negativity, good luck finding another studio that is all about the future of its' dancers.

I just am shocked at some of the immature, unprofessional reviews on some of these websites. Clearly, some people have too much time on their hand.

There is NEVER body-shaming, if there was, I would not be a teacher there. It is a dancer's responsibility to grow as a person and take responsibility for their actions, their schedules, costumes etc. I have had NUMEROUS talks with girls, in one ear out the other.

The studio fosters growth, let it. Stop making our job more difficult. It is so fulfilling to watch these young dancers come into their own, only to have it squashed by the behavior of their parents.

There is NO other studio like the SPIRIT OF DANCE STUDIO.

I'm sure your daughters (whoever you are) will be very happy in the back of classes, no special attention, expensive costumes etc. Trust me, if the parents acted like this at a pre-professional company, that student would have been barred years ago. Lets learn some respect people.

Owner is very confrontational if you tell her something she doesn't want to hear. A lot of body shaming goes on there. Favoritism and fake are the best words to use...the final straw was when my 9 year old daughter came crying because of being body shamed by overhearing things from an instructor before pictures.

My daughter has learned more in 3 weeks at the new studio than she did in 3 years at this studio. They learn the moves to 2 dances a year for their shows/recitals but that seems to be it.

Just a very unprofessional dance studio.

I’ve been involved with this studio for many years and will continue to be thanks to the amazing atmosphere. Two full recitals AND a ballet each year! Spirit is my family, and I don’t take for granted all I’ve gained here!

Love this place. My daughter has grown in skill and confidence. Learns multiple dances per year! Treated like family.

Poor ability to communicate with parents. No one can ask a question without being
berated. Stressing the children with yelling when it's not them that she needs to yell at, although I guess she should be talking instead of yelling.

There is no other studio like the spirit of Dance...at least I hope not! It’s the place where spirits are broken.
