THERE JUST GREAT!!! I HAVE TO TRAVEL 30-45 MINUTES, BUT IT IS WORTH IT. VISCAYA IS MY VET, BUT ONE NIGHT MY SHIH TZU WAS IN LABOR FOR HOURS, IT WAS LATE AT NIGHT, I CALLED VET'S CLOSE (BECAUSE I KNEW SHE NEEDED HELP) THEY WANTED ME TO BRING HER IN TO BE LOOKED AT, THEN SENT ME TO FT. MEYERS. I CALLED VISCAYA AND THEY TOLD ME TO GET THEIR ASAP. THEY WHERE GREAT, A C-SECTION AND 5 HEALTHY BABIES LATER . I HAVE BEEN BREEDING SHIH TZUS FOR ABOUT 25 YRS. I JUST KNEW MY FURR BABY WAS IN TROUBLE. THEY ARE GREAT DRS.. VERY CARING ABOUT THE ANIMALS AND US HUMANS.

Thru the years we have have been fortunate to have the doctors available for all our pets and for various "found" animals. The doctors are always compassionate and well versed in their respective specialties.

I took my Augie dog there today, and had prompt and wonderful service. He had another small problem and they checked him out 'all good' and didn't get additional fee. The staff & doctors are very helpful with any questions you have. Thank you.......Karen Bucino 3/9/12

The only place I take my fur kids! Since we arrived in this area 15 years ago, we have used this and the Del Prado location as our best source of care for our dogs and cats. We tried two others, but once we came here, that was it. We rescue, and we presently have 2 dogs and 9 cats, but we have had more, and they have always gotten superb care here. They are not close to us location-wise, but I will happily travel to take my little ones there. They have seen whole generations come and go with sensitivity and patience. They also have given us a discount for being a group!!!

They took great care of my retired rescued greyhound who came in with very serious medical problems. They treated him wonderfully and referred him to another vet for services they were unable to provide. Ultimately we came back to Viscaya. Benton's medical prognosis was very very poor and they were very sensitive to to both my dog and me saying goodbye and being together while he slipped peacefully away. Drs. Cornwell and Nelson were super, as was the staff at the front desk. Lastly, their fees were quite reasonable.

They are the BEST!very knowledgeable and compassionate and not out to break your bank account!!!

Hi, My name is Tater Tot and all the Doctors at Viscay-Prado Vet's clinic take good care of me. If I have a problem, I call and am always told that I can come in the same day. I can even stop by to pick up medicine at a moments notice.I love Vicaya-Prado Vet Clinic.Tater Tot

I have found Dr. McKelvey to be one of the best vets around. I have cats, dogs and birds that have been under his care at one time or another. Every time I have been to the clinic I have had a great experience and my pets have been treated with genuine care. Your the best!
