The First Ladies National Historic Site preserves, promotes and educates the public about the significant role of the First Ladies of the United States and their contributions throughout history. Located right in downtown Canton, the Site includes the Education and Research Center that houses the museum and current exhibit; and the Saxton McKinley House, the ancestral home of Canton’s own First Lady, Ida Saxton McKinley.
