It is ok. I wished they had more simpler dishes for the less sophisticated palete. Everything seemed a touch fancy. The service was fine. There was a spice that was stronger than the rest on it but still ok.
My husband loved his lobster. He said he would go back for it.

Not only was the menu beautifully orchestrated, but the food was brilliant. In today's day and age, it's the little touches such as polishing the wine glasses with a white cloth. Extraordinary service and example of placing the customer first. Well done!

Excellent

My husband and I went there and was seated right away (depends on what night you go). Weekends you need to make reservations in advance. We were pleasanty greated by the hostess and the waiter. We enjoyed a nice quiet meal with good conversation. The atmosphere was very relaxing. We were not rushed at all. I had the steamed crab. I highly recommned it. It was very sweet and extrodinarily fresh as was my husbands lobster tail. We both enjoyed some lucious scallops as an appetizer. With our meal we had the jalapeno corn bread which is great if you like jalapeno's. It definitely has a bit to it. I highly recomment their cucumber, tomatoe and onion side with the creamy dressing. It was mouth watering. We also enjoyed dessert. My husband had Key Lime Pie that was very good and I enjoyed the Walt's Mother's Pecan Pie. It was served warm with fresh whipped cream. It was also mouth watering. We highly recommend this restaruant to others and have already spoke to several of our friends to come and enjoy an evening at Goin Coastal Seafood. During the meal the chef came to check on us and we gave rave reviews. The service was also impecable. We will definitely be back.

Disappointing

A waste of time. After a 45 minute wait to be seated and a snooty hostess, we waited another 30 minutes for our food. Once we received our food, there was one flavor prevalent through the boullebaise and french fries, it was strong and overpowering. The fried shrimp had no flavor at all. The scallops were overcooked and rubbery. Once we asked for our check, it took another 20 minutes to receive the check. When we were asked, "What we thought?"; we expressed our disappointment. The Owner came to the table and expressed his disintrest. The atmosphere was very loud. You could not hold a conversation at your own table. The overall experience took 2.5 hours and $115.00. We had to go out to eat to have a real meal afterwards.
