Mr. Geier has worked on four vehicles of mine over a period of twelve years. He rebuilt a BMW 3.0 CS for me, replacing the carbs with Webbers. He is the only authentic, German- trained, master mechanic I ever found in LA. He also rebuilt a Range Rover and a Land Rover, including engine, electrical, suspension, etc. They are now reliable, perfectly operating wehicles, which if you've ever owned a Range Rover you know how unusual that is. I used Car Talk to find this shop after feeling like I was getting completely hosed by the service dept at my local BMW dealer. I wish I had found Klaus ages ago. We took him the 2000 BMW 3 wagon that my son inherited as his first car. It needed a new transmission and a bunch of other small fixes. We could tell that our Bavarian car knew it was in good Bavarian hands with Klaus. Klaus had the car ready on the day he promised and it is running better than it has in years. I hesitate to recommend Klaus here - because I'd selfishly like to keep him secret - but he is terrific and deserves to have more people know what a gem he is. He's a very pleasant and genial man on top of being an expert and honest mechanic, and he is very pleased to show you his Master (Meister) degree.
