6 months ago I was driving on Ventura Blvd and a car ran a red lightly and barely missed the car that was crossing the green light and kept on driving on the wrong side of the street towards upcoming traffic. The girl behind the wheel was intoxicated and the passenger was fighting. With her. I immediately called 911 and they transferred me to Topanga division. I gave the operator the license plate number and description of the vehicle. They pulled in to Target parking on the corner of De soto and Ventura, I pulled in to the parking behind them with a great distance between us. The operator kept asking for my I formation instead of dispatching the call, took her another 10 minutes on the phone to get my gender, type of vehicle I was driving and my race and ........

She said there will be a LAPD street patrol will be there but fir two hours nobody ever showed up and I kept calling every 15 minutes and She kept telling me a street patrol is on the way and was upset because I kept calling every 15-20 minutes since they did not show up. The other car passenger and driver switched places and took of and headed back to their apartment building. I called again and told them they are rolling and it has been over an hour and nobody showed up, I had also mentioned the occupants of the vehicle are highly Iintoxicated. I followed them front distance anapartment building which is a gated building. I waited

another 65 minutes until a unit pulled up and I flagged them down. I was keeping my eyes on the gate I case they leave again because they were putting public in danger by being intoxicated and if they came out, I had to follow them within a distance.

Finally after over two hours plus a LAPD unit showed up and the dispatcher had told the officers that I had gotten in to fight with them but not telling them they were intoxicated. When the officers came they asked me if I was hurt and I told them that was not the reason I had called. I had seen them walking while getting in and out of the car but never spoke to them. I told the officers what exactly happened and gave them the license plate number and type of vehicle. Again they asked me if I wanna file a complaint. I told them it is not about me it is about public safety .

The dispatcher who answered the call sounded very prejudice and acted as boss of all bosses.

I reported that to friend of mine Captain S. D. who was in charge of their training and told him what had happened I also didn't have the name of the operator but gave him exact time I had called the first time. Hopefully he has listen to recorded calls if she hadn't delete them. I didn't ask my body about it anymore because it was a problem within department and couldn't share with me, I know all this that is why I never asked him about it ever.

Dispatcher sounded very racist and I hope she is no longer working for LAPD. I am sure there had been a whole lot of other complaints.

Lost faith in police

If I could give a 0 I would... 1 is too much. I went in to file a report of an individual who assaulted me... first question out of her mouth was... is their damage to ur car or urself... I said no... but I have video surveillance and a witness... she said sorry their is nothing we can do... I said even though their is video and he threw things at my car... she said no.. it seemed like I was taking up her time cuz she seemed very busy with her Facebook. I have a friend who works for another division and I called and asked him what I could do I he said they shouldve at least filed a report I said no she did not he said she was being lazy... she should have don't her job. Apparently our tax dollars pay for this so called policpolice officer to do nothing and ait and play on Facebook when I had someone on the street who got extremely violent with me and with my daughter in the car.... I feel like she could have at least taken some information down to at least show that she... I'm disappointed. .. for them to do something someone needs to be either bleeding or dead instead of preventing something bad they have to have something bad happen. Don't go here or call this division. ..

I called needing a officer... ...

I called needing a officer... was waiting for next available officer for over 1 hour and a half until my phone died... what is the world coming to when you have to wait on hold over 1 hour to speak to a police officer? Budget cuts? just cut the whole department out we dont need cops anyways right?
