I brought in a 3/4 motor to get a quote on a repair. The owner of the shop looked at the motor but did not pick it up. I explained that the motor only needed to have the front and rear bearings replaced and a needed a new power cord wired in to replace the old one. I explained that I had ordered the parts (hard to find) and that I would supply the power cord and bearings, and that only his labor would be required. He said that he would charge me for 3 hours at $85.00 an hour, his hourly rate. When I questioned him, because being mechanically inclined myself but lacking the tools for this operation, how it could possibly take him more than an hour, he answered in a very emphatic manner,



"EVEN IF IT TAKES 15 MINUTES, I'M GOING TO CHARGE YOU FOR 3 HOURS".



Well, just in the manner he ended our conversation, I feel it is appropriate to end this review, with a taste of the kind of things you can expect to hear from this guy.
