A &D was hired to pave the road and six driveways in a mobile home park in Weaverville. To say that this experience has been a nightmare is an understatement. The pavement started to fall apart before any traffic was allowed on the newly placed pavement. There are areas that literally have 1/4” of pavement. I have not even been given the paperwork that was promised not less than six times. Just today (9/6) I was informed that I had actually had the work done by a contractor, not A & D even though it was one of the principals that I dealt with. It is not even worth going into the entire story. Stay away from this company. Do not believe what they say and measure the pavement, driveways, and anything else if you hire this company.

Since this is a “he said, she said” situation because I cannot even get my paperwork, I invite anyone to view this paving job before you hire this contractor. Look at the quality, check the depth of the pavement, and ask yourself if you would accept this ‘quality of work”. I am left to find and hire a reputable company to now finish the job. These guys obviously ran out of pavement at the end of the job and tried to stretch it. It shows.

I have pictures of this “quality job”, witnesses, and the job itself.

I challenge the BBB and the paving contractor (whoever that may be) to meet me at the job site, review the work, and let’s see what the parties think of this paving job. What is interesting is that the checks were made out to the primary owner of A & D Paving, not any contractor. I will check with the bank on Monday to discover exactly who cashed the checks.

This company did not even clean up the area and left a pile of dirt and three city owned orange cones. Wonder how they got those.

If anyone disputes any of these claims, I welcome you to travel 7/10's mile up Dula Springs road from the red light at North Main and Monticello in Weaverville, take a left on Wooten Cove Rd....the park is 4/10's mile on your left....take a look and decide for yourself. I will be happy to show you the area where the pavement is 1/4"....great job A & D....you should be ashamed.

I rated this company as a one star and it showed up as a 2 1/2 and for some reason A & D shows up as A & amp D!

Great work, was prompt and had all the right equipment and did excelent work for reasonable price.

These poeple pretend they know what they are doing and don't even have the proper equipment. They were in a great hurry to get paid and leave with the worst quality job ever seen! The materias used were not enough $5500 charged last fall and now $6000 for another company to re-do it all in six months..
