I have been a student of Dennis Sakamoto for many years, including with his previous "Stage One" acting school. Over the years I have been able to get work as an actor in local and national commercials, industrial films, stage, and TV. Besides the success in acting, the confidence I gained has opened up avenues in other parts of my life has been rewarding.



His acting classes in auditioning have been very useful. He puts you in situations that actually occurs during an audition. One example is when you are given a script and you have 10 minutes to understand it and be ready to be on camera. You are taught how to interpret the script, how to read off the copy or cards during the audition, and how to properly present yourself in movement and expression. Since Dennis has been a working actor in LA, New York, and the Bay Area he can give you insights on the process in auditioning to getting the part.



The film acting sessions are also valuable. You will learn how to read a script and how to form and develop your character for your role to give an impact on camera. You will also learn the proper movement skills for different camera shots. As with all his classes he will give you immediate feedback on video. You will also experience the camera and industry standard lighting during the video take of your acting.
