Provided by YP.comNEVER GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I'm a local patron who has supported this restaurant for over 10 years. Tonight I was there with my husband and 85-year-old parents and we complained because it took over an hour to get our simple orders (nachos, crab cakes) and the food arrived cold. Instead of apologizing or offering to comp a dessert, like many other establishment do, I was told BY THE OWNER that if I didn't like the service, I could "go eat at McDonalds" because "an hour wait on a Friday night was reasonable to her" and that I should "never come back" to her establishment. I was told by the wait staff that I shouldn't expect "VIP treatment because I'm a local" and basically the party of 35 people on the deck who had pre-ordered their food was more important than the regular locals who see them through the slow week days and non-tourist season. Even the bar patrons were rude when I was seeking to get someone to take my money for the check and told me to get out. I am appalled at the lack of customer service by the owner, the arrogance of the wait staff expecting me to apologize to them for my unhappiness at the restaurant's lack of ability to service all their patrons is a reasonable amount of time, the rudeness of my fellow town citizens for heckling my 85-year-old mother, and the absurdity of a 6' bouncer herding my 4'11" mother and my cane-bearing father out of the restaurant like we were drunk and disorderly (my husband had 1 drink; maybe we would've been treated better if we all had ordered their over-priced drinks) All I expected was a hot meal in a reasonable (30 minutes?) amount of time. Just because there is a party of 35 (who even pre-ordered and had reservations, so why did this over-tax the staff?) shouldn't mean that service to everyone else in the place suffers. This is NO WAY to run a customer-service oriented business. The owner does not have to worry - I will never step foot into this establishment again. There are other, more customer-focused restaurants in this town who don't tell their patrons that they "don't need their business to stay in business".
