Our family has been doing excavating in the treasure valley for many years starting with my father Glen Welch who started in 1958, until he retired in 1980. His son, Phil, started running equipment at the age of 11 years old and in 1980 started working along with Glen, which he later took over in 1988 and has been doing it ever since.
