Bringing SW Flyer home to the farm we saw a baby deer not more than a week old limping along the highway- split second decision to stop on the entrance ramp and attempt to rescue it. Perhaps not the smartest risk but saving its life would have been worth it. Dozens of cars whizzed by us- Only 1 car stopped to help- 2 kind men in a DARWYN'S PLUMBING van first asked if we needed help, then ran down the highway to help Jim. There are still good Samaritans in this world! Thank you! And the baby deer crossed the highway into the woods. Hope it lives!!
