Knives came back duller than before
by RRR , 10/09/2014
This guy has no idea what he's doing. He said he'd redo the bad work, but ins't at the market anymore and won't return our calls or give us back our money. It's easy to find a good knife sharpener in Seattle - don't let this thief steal your money.

Andrew was just at my house and sharpened two axes, a large pair of branch cutters and a small pair of nippers. He was friendly, skilled, reasonably priced and quick. Thank you for the great service. I feel great about getting started on my gardening projects now.
The way things should be

Andrew came to my home to sharpen 10 knives. While he sat on my front porch I called up a neighbor to let him know I had a professional knife sharpener on site. Mostly out of curiousity, my neighbor came up with some knives. It was a nice day so we all sat out on the porch chatting. Another neighbor pulled into her driveway- I shouted out to her that she ought to bring over knives. Next thing you know Andrew was sharpening her pruning shears. The first neighbor was so impressed that he called up ANOTHER neighbor. Andrew wound up on my porch for two hours sharpening five different people's blades and knives. This was fun, useful, inexpensive, and all in all a super experience! Oh- and my knives are really sharp!
Good at what he does and a nice guy to boot!

A little strange having a guy come to your door asking to sharpen knives, shears, lawnmowers blades, etc. Happy that I overcame my initial caution to employ Andrew's services and I now have some beautifully sharpened knives and garden shears to show for it. Ultimately, I trusted him with my Japanese chef knives and was happy to have him do his work in my home. Utilize Andrew's services, you'll be glad you did.
Nice guy, great job...

Andrew did a great job sharpening a couple of knives and a shovel right on my front porch. Very convenient, a job well done and super personal touch. The price was almost too low! I definitely recommend this service
Great Job! Great Price!

April 9, 2011 - Andrew sharpened 4 kitchen knives, 2 pruning tools and my lawnmower blade which was very chipped and dull. It took him about an hour and he did an excellent job. He came to my house; he was polite and personable and I will certainly utilize his services in the future. His prices are extremely reasonable. He charged me $34 for all his work.
old fashioned service

Very friendly and curteous professional service. The job is done right on your front porch or driveway by Andrew. The convenience factor makes it a "no brainer" good deal. I highly recommend him.
Excellent unobtrusive service at my door, great value

When I saw an unfamiliar face in my doorway, my first reaction was "another solicitor I'll have to get rid of while I feed my daughter dinner..." I'm glad I gave Andrew a few minutes of my time and a pile of kitchen knives that were long overdue for some sharpening. He set up shop on my front porch and got to work quickly. Very polite and professional and does excellent work for a very affordable rate. I strongly recommend giving this guy a call for any sharpening needs you may have.
Opening My Door Saved Me Time and Money

I never open the door when someone knocks unless they've called first and I'm expecting someone. I'm never interested in what someone is selling. This is my only exception.Glad I did too because it was like my mind was being read. I needed my push-mower to be sharpened and I knew it'd take 10-15 days to get it back. He had sharp in 10-15 minutes for a 1/3rd of the price.Do yourself a favor and support the olde-timey custom of door-to-door blade sharpening. Because like any good chef knows, you're only as good as the kitchen you keep. And what's a kitchen with a dull knife?
