I love yarn in the farms. Firstly the owner is far out and funky with a great artistic designer flair. Her knowledge of knitting and her enthusiasm for the craft are contagious and she can nail down a perfect project for you to work on when you don't already gave something in mind. Actually everyone who works here is great at that . The yarns are fabulous , best quality yarns. Shibui, Zen garden, lots of Madeline tosh, rowan, noro, great cashmere . And not in just 3 or 4 colors or three or four types of a yarn just do she can say she has it in the store. I've always been able to purchase enough everything I've needed for the whole project. Nothing worse than picking a project only to be told: " we can order the yarn for you" . Sometimes I understand this can happen , but not so much here. And when I gave asked for something special ordered , they are happy to do it and I get it usually within a week.

The knitting knowledge here is great . I've learned alot here. Has to be one of the greatest yarn shops in the country. I started coming here when my daughter decided to go to college in the area. She pipes " gee mom, you visit me slot more since you found that knitting shop ' She is so right !

Great food across the street, and a exquisite chocolate shop a block or two down . Every knitter , every yarn snob must go

here. You won't be disappointed .
