Company is broke, owner lies and doesn't pay employees

I worked for XL Services for over 11 years. Problems started when Tom Fillaus bought the company in early 2012. When a paycheck did not arrive, I called Tom to see what happened. He said it must have gotten lost in the mail, and he'd get a replacement to me in a few days. It took him a month to get me this check. I don't believe he really ever sent it the first time, because a week before he finally did get this check to me, he admitted he didn't have the money and wouldn't for another week. Since I had been with XL for so long, I foolishly gave him a 2nd chance. This was a mistake. A few weeks later, he laid me off all but 1 account because of his financial difficulties, but assured me my current paycheck was in the mail. It never arrived. I left multiple voicemails, he never even returned my calls. So of course I quit the remaining account I had. This was 3 weeks ago. Still no check, no response to my messages. Note: Tom may also be doing business under the name No Mess Janitorial.
Use to be a good business

The new owner Mark Goldner has very little to offer. Pays his employees late; Pays his employees inaccurately. I worked at some of XL's accounts over a year and had no cleaning supplies delivered. Had to buy my own.
