Come play in the snow!

You are in for a treat at one of Colorado’s oldest and finest ski resorts. Our trademark is friendly employees and abundant, light powder snow.

Most areas of operation are covered on this website. However, if additional questions arise please call our main number.

Enjoy your visit with us and ski safely and courteously on our beautiful mountain.

Wolf Creek is a high alpine ski resort, 10,300 feet at the base and 11,900 feet at the summit. Sunscreen and sunglasses are necessary in the high altitude sun. The weather conditions can change rapidly so be prepared with extra clothing and goggles.

Take it easy on your first day at higher elevations and drink plenty of water before driving up the mountain.

Recognize your own limitations. If you are tired or cold, stop for a while and drink plenty of water.

Best Ski Area in Colorado!!

by DurangoDave , 03/08/2010

Whenever I can get a day off, I sneak up to the pass for the best powder around. You can get lost in the back bowls and feel like you are skiing out of bounds, but in the safety of ski patrol and lifts nearby with avalanche safe slopes. I am a person who likes to taste adventure and ski by herself, so this is the perfect place for me to get my ya-hoos and yippees in just an hour or so from Durango.
