Previous review is for a different restaurant by Albany Diner - 11/12/2009Odd to have to comment on this but the prior poster is reviewing The Depot restaurant which is several blocks away on Lyon St. The Wine Depot does a great business in deli sandwiches and salads as well as being very knowledgeable about the wines they sell in their shop. Always fresh, the place is always spotlessly clean and all the staff have always been extremely friendly.
Fried but delicious by local girl - 05/10/2009The restaurant is cramped or cozy depending how you look at it, the motif flows through out and the food follows suit. This is a seafood restaurant, and the majority of the seafood is fried. It is very good, but it is almost all fried. One of the most popular items at the restaurant is the Bonny's Crunch Salad, a very unusual combination of shredded carrots, bay shrimp, sunflower seeds, green onions, celery, and their dressing but absolutely delicious.
