Linen napkin prices, paper napkin menu by Wulfhere - 11/06/2008I used to go to the Windmill quite a bit before they moved. The old restaurant was like something from the Godfather....tight booths, dark, and low brow food that was decently priced and tasty....your grandparents' restaurant. The new Windmill is much nicer, with a high ceiling, lots of windows and stonework. The menu is more updated too, but is still a meat & potatoes menu at heart. Here's the problem: The Windmill is as expensive or more expensive than any other restaurant in town, and I'd put it maybe 10th on my list of fine dining. If you're dropping $60-100 for dinner for two you can do much better at several other restaurants in town.
I rate the atmosphere 7 out of 10; Menu 5 out of 10; Price 2 out of 10

The atmosphere was terrific, they had a small private room for us away from everyone else which was also unexpected and very nice. The food was absolutely excellent, be prepared to pay about $15-20 an entrTe at dinnertime. The service could not have been any better either! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family!
