Best off road shop around!
by Will Fisher , 07/13/2014
My experience with Wilson Off Road was great from the start, and I look forward to doing business with them for many, many years to come. I first called them when I was looking to get some suspension work done to my 2008 F150. I knew generally what I wanted, but didn't have my heart set on anything in particular. So I called Wilson up and spoke to a guy named Shawn. He was very cool about the whole thing (seeing as how I didn't really have an idea about what kind of work I wanted) and he gave me plenty of ideas about to think about. He is a great guy, and made it clear that he was trying to get me something I wanted, and never at any point tried to sell me anything that I wasn't absolutely happy with. After exchanging ideas and a few phone calls, I decided on 6" of suspension lift, 35" tires and 17" rims. I told Shawn what I wanted, and he got all the pieces together for me. And when we ran into issues trying to secure the rims I wanted (one company stopped making the rims I wanted that year, and the other company didn't make rims with the proper backspacing), he offered me suggestions as to what rims he thought would look good on my truck. I had chosen a few types that I liked, but wasn't really happy with. Shawn then made a suggestion, and I'm really glad I listened to him because the rims look fantastic on my truck. And to top it all off, they were the same price as the other rims I had chosen myself that I didn't really like. Once all my pieces had arrived it was all a matter of getting my truck to them and setting to work on it. They did the work quickly (around a day and a half) and made sure that everything was in proper running order (balanced and aligned the tires, adjusted the headlights, etc.) before they gave it back to me. The owner Keith even waited around after normal closing hours so that I could pick up my truck after work in the evening. My truck looks great and runs great thanks to the guys at Wilson Off Road. So if there's anyone out there on the fence about getting work done to their truck (or Jeep) and unsure where to go to get quality work done by genuine experts, you really can't do better than Wilson Off Road. After just one visit, they've made a lifetime customer out of me.

I've been doing business with Keith Wilson at Wilson Off Road since he started the business in 2006. Whether it's been storing my truck during deployment or them repairing my entire front end, I'm always impressed by their professionalism and customer service. If you need anything done for your vehicle, they're definitely the first place to stop at, because with the way they treat customers, Wilson Off Road will be you're only stop!
Wilson Offroad is the Best around!

I took my 02 Chevy Tahoe with 6" lift and worn out 35" tires into Wilson Offroad for a front end inspection prior to putting new tires on it. Keith warned me up front what all could be wrong so there wouldn't be any surprises that afternoon-tie rods, pitman arm, steering link, UCA's...the list goes on. The truck had a lot of play in the front end, felt loose and the wheels wobbled over bumps. I went back that afternoon to pick it up only to be told it was a couple loose bolts and everything had plenty of wear left on it! I was so happy to hear that and thought what a standup company this is! Most shops would tell you that you need this and that just to get money out of you...Not Wilson-They are stand up guys with an honest mechanic! He told me I just needed new tires and that would fix most of my drive issues.I also ended up getting new wheels and tires from them as they gave me the best deal-just as good as what I could find on the internet! These guys are great and know there stuff! Thanks again Wilson and crew!
Best shop in NC

I took my 12 year old Dodge Ram which was a basket case that had not been driven in 2 years. I also took to them a cab full of parts that needed replaced. Wilson Off-Road was able to fix EVERY one of my problems. Even when a manufacturer of a part flat out refused to give them support for a defect in their product they knuckled down and came up with logical and professional solution for the problem that was not only better than what had initially came with the product but was tremendously more safe. All of the wiring, installation of parts and services performed where completed cleanly and professionally. They even discovered several issues with installs that Wilson Off-Road had no part of of which they corrected, updated and made safer. Thank You Wilson Off-Road. No one else will touch my truck EVER again.

Highly recommended. They were courteous, timely, responsive, and fairly-priced. I will definitely return to Wilson's if other work is needed.
1977 Chevy "The Nightmare Truck"
by Middle East Fires-Man , 06/26/2011
I took my 1977 chevy there about 3 years ago to finsh a lift I was having trouble with. READ ALL THE WAY YO THE END because this is acualy a good review. When I took it there I had to leave to re deploy to Iraq before it was done, so my dad picked it up for me. I didn't know until I got back that there was a bit of a damaging mistake made by a "mechic" that turned out not to be a mechic. But he didn't last long there, I have been told that he is long gone. I talked to Keith at the shop and he took my truck back in and made it right. Heres the thing, due to the long time inbetween when I picked it up, and when I took it back in; the shop had no leagal responsablity to fix it, but they did because they run a respectable outfit. Keith admitted it was the shops fault and worked to fix it, didn't care about what the legal responsabliltys were, and thats the true measure of a business, mistakes happen, but what they do when mistakes happen, that tells you who they really are. GOOD JOB!!
NO BODY BETTER THAN WILSON OFFROAD!

I have a '69 Ford Bronco that I took to Wilson Offroad about 5 years ago for a front disc brake conversion. I was impressed then as I am impressed now. I recently took the same Bronco in for some minor engine work. These guys worked on my bronco like it was 1 of their own!! The care, the detail, the vision---these guys are certainly pros and definitely care about what their customers need and want. I won't take my Bronco anywhere else for any other work! They do it all--engine work, suspension, etc etc...you got a problem with your truck/jeep/suv--you TAKE IT TO WILSON!! Great job guys. Thanks again!!
The BEST off road shop!

My husband and I searched the internet for a place to take his Jeep to have a lift kit put on it and we came across Wilson Offroad and based on reviews we decided we would give it a shot and we are so thankful we did and couldn't be happier with them! My husband is in the military and couldn't take his jeep in because of his schedule, so I did all the dealings with Wilson's. I was always treated great and enjoyed going there. Wilson's worked really hard to meet our needs and did the job so quickly. I needed the lift done in one day so I could get my kids to and from school and they said they would try, but couldn't promise me that, and to my surprise, they got it done! We will be taking ALL of our offroad needs to Wilson's! They do not disappoint! Thanks Wilson Offroad!

We snowbirds travel a lot and when my chevy van died on I95 we were at the mercy of the people of Fayetteville, NC . The hwy patrol called a tow truck and the next morning I had to find a shop. I called shops I found on the internet and found wilsons off road. I thought that they might be willing to work on my chevy van. I figured it was a jeep place from the name. They were more than helpful on the phone they sensed i was in a bind and said he would fit me in that morning. He quoted me a fare price and fixed it for the qutoted price. This is an honest mom and pop shop. We were on our way in a few hours. thanks to all the guys at wilsons.
