Whatcom Environmental Services Inc. WES provides Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) services to lending institutions and municipal clients in Whatcom, Skagit, Island, and San Juan Counties. WES assists industrial and commercial clients with remedial investigation/feasibility study project management for sites regulated by the state Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) and the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). WES performs site assessments at Underground Storage Tank (UST) sites and has successfully closed a number of operating and abandoned UST systems. WES has prepared and negotiated numerous site investigation, remediation, and closure plans with the Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology).
