The company also has a real estate division that builds homes. Steven R. Rogel has been the chief executive officer of Weyerhaeuser for more than eight years. He has been with the wood products giant for over eight years. Rogel earned a BSChE from the University of Washington. The Weyerhaeuser Company was founded in 1900 and employs more than 55,000 people in 18 countries, including a facility in Federal Way, Wash.
