Westmoreland Gymnastics School has been in the business of teaching children the art of gymnastics and tumbling for over 35 years..Ron and Jan Kolman founded the school in 1980 and continued to run it until 2005. They were determined to operate an establishment that concentrated on teaching children to succeed, and they truly accomplished that goal.Bill Altman has been team coach and part owner at Westmoreland Gymnastics for 34 years. In 2005, the Kolman's decided to retire, and Bill became the sole owner. His goal was simple; to maintain a high level of skill, help the students reach their goals, get a head start on fitness at a young age, and have fun. This theme continues on today with over 400 students enrolled in our many classes. The goals and ideals that Westmoreland Gymnastics maintains today, are because of the many great instructors and employees that are on board with our dream. Everyone dreams; everyone wants to succeed. At our school, we strive to fulfill both visions. Stop by or give us a call with any questions.

The owner is committed to the children and has lots of experience raising his own family. The parents and coaches are nice. This gym is clean. The only reason we moved is to get closer to home. Otherwise, our daughter would still be at this gym.

I totally disagree with the previous review. My daughter had Josh for a 3 month summer session and she learned so many new skills. He is always correcting the girls and helping them with new skills. He has an eye on other girls even when he is helping another girl. If you have a child that does not give one hundred percent and doesn't practice what they are asked to do, it would appear that child is "standing around." I would suggest you pay for one on one lessons if your child is not self-motivated in a group of 7. My daughter is already signed up for the fall and she wanted to make sure Josh was her instructor. I would recommend Westmoreland Gymnastics to anyone.

The toddler class was great, however the gymnastic 1 class was a joke. Josh was the teacher. These kids didn't know the names of official gymnastic moves, he just the kids to do it. My kid would stand there doing nothing. After 2 months of this, I encouraged my child to ask Josh, what's that mean and how do I do it? And can u help me. He reluctantly would say in Minute and never came back to help!!!!! Total waste of $101.00. Month!!! I wasn't the only parent tat pulled there children...
