I have owned into WestGate vacation Villas in Kissimmee, FL about 20 years and My sister has owned at the Smoky Mountain resort about 5 years. I have used mine or my sisters membership to stay there several times.



The "Log Cabin" condos are not bad. They are on a steep hill but if you want transported around and don't want to walk, you can get a golf cart to pick you up. They have a fleet of golf carts like none I have ever seen before.



The location is ok and you can get a trolley to downtown. They have a new Water park that is NOT included in your stay which gives some activity when the weather is bad. The pools are pretty inconvient, but kept up. We experienced a few maintenance problems staying there on more than 1 occasion and the layout and accomodations of my sister's timeshare was changed without her being consulted or notified. Mostly, she has a lockout that when she bought it that had 2 double beds... suddenly one was replaced with a rather uncomfortable sofa bed in all units.



All in all it is not nearly as nice as the Florida vacation Villas, but you are sure to get a hardsell on buying timeshare regardless of how long you have owned there or how many times you visit... and usually telling how they are the best and number 1 Wesgate resort. Although it is closer to me and why I have used it a few times, it is nothing close to other Westage resorts I have stayed at. The quality and the included amenities have gone down.. but the price has gone up.
