We live in Kingman. My husband blew a tire on the hwy. He has low pro special order tires and somehow Dean had them in Stock. He hooked us up with a tow company, had his crew and tires ready to go. He even offered to stay as late as he needed so my hubby could get back on the road and home. No other places had tires that would fit and no other business was as kind and concerned about getting him hime to his family. Thank you Dean and Crew 10 stars to you!

While traveling near Flagstaff, Arizona on I-40 one of the tires had a problem, the steel belts were unraveling on my passenger out-side rear tire. The RV has dual rear axles. The tire was still holding air so I drove it, attempting to have the tire replaced at a nearby Sam’s Club. They did not have my tire size in stock and would not have them available for over a week. That would not work, so we decided to have AAA put on the spare and stay in Flagstaff as it was already near 8PM. Attempting to find somewhere to replace the tires the next morning (Sunday) after calling numerous places and requesting referrals there was one company that said they had my tire size in stock, Western Truck and Auto Repair, 3220 US66, Flagstaff, AZ, 86004. Upon arrival I was told that the tire size 8.00x16.25 was no longer available but a replacement size was 8.75x16.5. They had Firestone Transforce LT in stock. As the tire was a different size than what was on the vehicle I could have opted to rotate a front tire to the back and replace a front tire but this would not be optimal. As we were about to travel over 2000 miles on or vacation I decided to replace all 6 tires on the RV. The first quote from the owner was aver $4000.00 that was not an acceptable price, discussing it further I was quoted that the price was over $350 for each tire plus installation, federal excise tax, and installation. For the safety of the family and as this seemed to be the only game in town I agreed to a total of $2,500.00 for all 6 installed. They did do a quick job balancing and mounting the tires. We were there for about an hour. While waiting, I checked the internet on my phone and found the same tire for about $160.00 each. After the work was done, prior to paying I discussed the price further with the owner and he would not budge. I received a hand written receipt with a single price on it $2500.00 no breakdown for any charges. I understand that they were the only game in town, and my family was waiting to continue vacation and it was Sunday. I expected to pay a premium, but compared to a quote for the same work received locally at home of $1254.00 the premium of twice the price was exorbitant. My request to Firestone, please investigate your distributor, Western Truck and Auto repair for Price gouging and taking advantage if a customer is in a difficult situation. For these actions I suggest you no longer distribute tires through them. Sincerely,Bruce Carlson

These guys do anything they can to rip people off who are passing through Flagstaff. Most people who live here know not to go to the business. They are one of the few places open 24 hours a day so don't be fooled.

I had a flat around 9:00 and I called the number for service all I got was an answering machine , left my message there, nobody ever called back , I had to wait till the next morning so I could get my truck fix somewhere else, a bad experience for me , bad service indeed, I guess the more money they make the worse the service gets, just my two cents.,

I am a 30 year old female who was stuck on the freeway at 11pm I called the after hours number and they had me fixed up and on my way. the charge was not bad at all and the service was awesome dean called several times and made sure everything was ok he said he has a 31year old daughter and he would never wish her stuck somewhere with no help thank you soooo much guys

I would like to note that my visit to Flagstaff, Arizona was very pleasant and if Western Tire was not there for the public I don't know what I would have done without them. The workers there were extremely nice and polite. They were able to work with me on the price of my service, not like a big company like Sams Club or Sears, to where they can't drop the price or even make changes to them, because it's set prices. I would also like to note: If you want a deal go into the office, that's where their able to give you the discount that we all need, especially this time of year. Respectfully, Mrs.Robinson
