The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly by archaeoprof - 10/14/2009The Good: this shop has everything in stock. If you're an impulse buyer (aren't we all?), it's a dream. If you are into cars, it's even better. All the guys here know everything about that. The only problem is, I'm not into cars (yet).The Bad: if you are into planes, they can't help a whole lot. A few of them fly, but the service is tight-lipped. And they'll tell you they can't offer much advice on flying. At least they are honest. The Ugly: While the guys here may not know much about flying, they pilot the profanities with expertise. Unless you enjoy explaining what those words mean to your 6-year-old, better bring the little ones elsewhere.

noone has a better selection of parts or anything you need hobby related that I have found so far!
the people there know what they are talking about and are straight forward, they will tell you their opinion on products and ideas you may have.
and anytime I needed help with something they were more than happy to do it for me or help me do it or show me how to do it!
Good Selection, Bad Service by DVader74 - 07/24/2008They have a good selection of just about everything which makes it a great place to shop. However unless you're a friend of the employees or into RC cars, expect to get ignored for awhile then a disgruntled attitude from the employees at having to help you.
Customer service by moabyj - 03/19/2008I bought a servo from them and it did not work so i took it back to exchange it and they told me to bad, take it up with the maker, and one other thing if you are under 25 and drive a R/C car you might have a chance at some type of service but if not, you will get nothing in the way of service.
Horrible service by Bent - 11/20/2007My son went into West Valley Hobbies and was treated Horribly I went in the next day thinking they would treat a paying adult better WOW was I wrong they must not like money needless to say I took my business elsewhere. I did'nt get past ther horrible service to see how the rest of the store was I walked out.
