Gail Cox BSN, CHTP, LMT has worked as a nurse for over twenty years in the areas of critical care and psychiatry. She has been a certified healing touch practitioner through Healing Touch International, Lakewood, Colorado since 1996. Gail graduated from the massage program at National College of Naprapathy, Chicago, Illinois in 2004 and is nationally certified. She is self taught in aromatherapy and encourages its use in her treatment sessions.

Healing Touch is a biofield therapy that uses an energy approach to health and healing. Techniques are non-invasive, utilizing the hands to clear, energize and balance the client, affecting physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and healing.

Therapeutic massage uses hands on techniques to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function of the client. Massage also enhances the clients’ sense of well-being.

Aromatherapy is the application of essential oils for therapeutic purposes. Oils may be applied to stimulate healing in both humans and animals. They may also be applied to maintain existing health, promoting wellness and optimal well-being physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

The benefits of massage, healing touch and aromatherapy are: improved sense of well being, improved circulation, improved lymphatic drainage, improved mood, improved flexibility, improved joint range of motion, decreased pain, decreased anxiety, decreased aggression, and improved cognitive functioning.
